Oyebanji Hails VP’s Visit, Commissioning of MSME Clinics, Road Project

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has appreciated the “successful” recent visit of Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, to the state, which led to the Commissioning Of Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), National Clinics, and Road Project.

In a statement signed by the Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor, Yinka Oyebode, Governor Oyebanji thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support and interest in the development of Ekiti State, demonstrated by the establishment of a new ICT hub in the state.

He also expressed gratitude to the Vice President for inaugurating the MSME Clinics Garment Hub, commissioning a road project, and interacting with representatives of the people.

Yinka noted that, “The Governor, who describes the MSME Clinic as a strategic intervention that would aid economic growth and create economic opportunities for the people, urges the beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s grants to make judicious use of the money and opportunities to improve their businesses.

“He says his administration will not relent in partnering with the Federal Government, its agencies, and development partners to create economic opportunities for the people of the state in line with the shared prosperity agenda of the administration.

According him, the Governor appreciated the support of three Ekiti sons who accompanied the Vice President: Senate Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele; Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr. Dele Alake; and Permanent Secretary, State House, Engr. Funso Adebiyi.

He also thanked traditional rulers, religious leaders, security agencies, market women associations, artisans, drivers’ unions, and youth organizations for their solidarity during the visit.

Governor Oyebanji urged beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s grants to utilize the funds wisely and promised to continue partnering with the Federal Government to create economic opportunities for the people.
