Report reaching Roundoffnews says, the Ekiti State Ultra Modern Market know as Fayose Market was burgled over night by unknown criminals.
About eight shops with stocks worth millions of naira were burgled and valuables carted away.
When contacted on telephone the President of traders in the market Owa Babatunde confirmed that the security guards on duty were over powered, tied with rope before carrying out the dastardly act.
He described the development as unfortunate calling on government to come to their aide.
Similarly, an electronic shop located at Olorunda area of Ado-Ekiti belonging to a young entrepreneur was also burgled over night.
Electronics worth millions of Naira were also carted away.
Report says the criminals got into the shop through the roof.
Sympathizers say the incident is the third of its kind on the shop.
