A 33-year-old freelance photographer, Zacchaeus Salawadeen, was pierced to death on Tuesday by suspected hoodlums before his children.
It was reported that the ruffians tracked down Salawadeen to his house on Tuesday night after the photographer finished his work for the day and retired home to be with his family in Tundun Fulani Area of Minna, Niger State capital where they stabbed him to death.
One of the residents in the area affirmed that the assassins broke into Salawadeen’s flat to kill him after imprisoning the other tenants of the house in one location, taking with them valuables such as a laptop and camera belonging to the deceased.
When contacted, a spokesman for the Niger State Police, Wasiu Abiodun, verified the event and stated that exhibits had been removed from the scene and that an inquiry had been started.
