Cancerous cells discovered in King Charles – Buckingham Palace

Success Nwankwo

Just one week after being released from the hospital following prostate surgery, Buckingham Palace announced on Monday that King Charles III had been diagnosed with a type of cancer and was starting treatment.

It’s necessary to recall that King Charles, who ascended the throne on the 8th of September 2022, following the demise of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, has lived a healthy life, with an exception of Ski and polo injuries.

Official news from the palace said that during his recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement “a separate issue of concern was noted”.

“Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer,” the palace said in a statement, adding that he had begun treatment but without elaborating on the type of cancer found or how advanced it was.

Official report from the palace said that the king “remains wholly positive” and “looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible”.
