The Ekiti state government has budgeted N11 million for the renovation of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Camp situated in Ise/Orun/Emure.
This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Budget, Economic Planning and Performance Management, Hon Niyi Adebayo during the 2024 Budget Breakdown and Highlights in Ado-Ekiti today.
According to the Commissioner, the 2024 budget reflects Governor Biodun Oyebanji commitment to fiscal accountability and commitment, noting that effort has been made to address every sector of the economy.
It could be recalled that the NYSC State Coordinator, Alhaji Riko Abdullahi Shuiabu had earlier appealed to the state government to respond to the renovation of the camp.
