Federal Housing Ado Ekiti Residents seek Government assistance on infrastructure

Association of Federal Housing Residents in the State has Sought the assistance of the Government for road maintenance and procurement of transformers in the area.

In an interview with ROUNDOFFNEWS today, the Financial Secretary of Federal Housing Afao Road, Ado Ekiti , Mr Oladele Adaramodu saud the community was facing challenges of poor roads, unstable electricity among other social amenities.

Adaramodu said, “We have contributed tremendously to the development of the community since the executives assumed office in 2022.” Recalling the time when some locations in the state are yet to get electricity, and their efforts to bring electricity to some communities.

Seeking government support for continuous development, he said, “We require substantial government assistance and have submitted numerous letters seeking support for road maintenance, the conversion of our primary school to a secondary school, and the provision of equipment for our Health Centers”.

Speaking on security, he stated “I strongly appeal to the government to ensure comprehensive security patrols in the estate around the clock, addressing insecurity, and to assist in resolving the electricity challenges in the area”.

Mr. Adaramodu also appealed to government government to establish a recreation center for community retirees to prevent them from facing emotional stress.

He expressed gratitude to the residents of the area for their cooperation and support throughout his tenure as the General Secretary, and for his reappointment as the Financial Secretary two years ago.
