The newly appointed Coordinator of Grazing Management in Ekiti State, Chief Niyi Adedipe known as Apase has promised to justify the confidence reposed in him by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
Speaking with newsmen in Ado Ekiti, the former Coordinator of Oodua Peoples’ Congress in the State appreciated the Governor for appointing him to serve Ekiti people and pleged to use the position to create good relationship among farmers and herdsmen.
Chief Adedipe explained that he would use his experience and expertise as former OPC Coordinator to ensure that grazzing activities were carried out in a way to encourage farming across the towns and villages of the State.
“Our amiable Governor is very passionate about the wellbeing of the people and will do everything to ensure food security in the state, this I will not take for granted, as I will help him to achieve the vision”.
“I am ready to work and deliver in line with the rules that guide my office, I will not compromise, but ensure that I support Governor Oyebanji to succed”.
Chief Adedipe called on herdsmen and farmers in the state to cooperate with him, in order to make the state free of herders and farmers crisis as well as peaceful co-existence which the present administration is known for.
