TRADITIONAL WOMEN CHIEFS IN EKITI EULOGIZE OYEBANJI OVER SUCCESSES OF 1ST ANNIVERSARY

…demand improved recognition, appointment of more women

Traditional Women Chiefs In Ekiti State have expressed delight over the various achievements recorded by Governor Biodun Oyebanji within his first year in office.

The community leaders who spoke through their Head, High Chief Bolanle Owolabi, the Eyemuju of Ifaki Ekiti, affirmed that the Governor was able to touch virtually all sectors of the economy within his one year in office without preference for religion, politics and ethnic differences.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, High Chief Owolabi congratulated the Governor and urged him to consolidate on the gains recorded so far in the coming years.

She appealed to the Governor to carry the group along in all his activities so that they could also contribute their quota towards supporting him to achieve his dream of making the state a pride of place.

High Chief Owolabi also congratulate and appreciated the Deputy Governor,Chief Monisade Afuye, the SSG, Dr. Habbibat Adunbiaro and cabinet members of the Governor for giving him the needed support.

The Head of Women Chief also extended the special felicitations of her people to the Ekiti first lady, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji on the celebration of her birthday, with a prayer to God to uphold her and grant her heart desires.

She acknowledged the impact of the first lady in women and children urging her to sustain the tempo.

Similarly the Women Chiefs rejoiced with High Chief Bolanle Elisabeth Aderoju on her installation as the new Eyegba of Ado Ekiti with a prayer to almighty God to grant her the wisdom, blessings and sound health to justify the confidence reposed in her.
