We’re developing strategy to counter hate, fear against Muslims, others – US President Biden

The United State (US) President Joe Biden has said his administration is developing a National Strategy to Counter fear and hate against Muslims and other related forms of hate in the country.

He said this recently on his X handle @POTUS

This is the US first National Strategy to counter Islamophobia.

Biden said, “We can’t stand by while hate against Muslims, and those wrongfully perceived to be Muslim, including Arabs and Sikhs, is given oxygen.

“That’s why we are developing a National Strategy to Counter Islamophobia and Related Forms of Hate. Silence is complicity. We won’t be silent.” He added.

Also, the US Vice President Kamala Harris on her X handle @VP, noted that “Taking on hate is a national priority. Today, the President of the United State (Biden) and I are announcing the country’s first National Strategy to Counter Islamophobia.

“This action is the latest step forward in our work to combat a surge of hate in America.” She revealed.
