One time Senate Representative of Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani has berated Nigerians over silence on the discovery of 50 decomposing corpses and 20 headless ones in Abia state.
The Senator lamented on his X handle @Shehu Sani.
He said, “Imagine a country where 70 headless decomposing corpses have been found, and there is no sense of outrage. What happened to empathy and the right to life?’
The Abia Government revealed that 50 decomposing corpses, including 20 headless ones and countless skeletons, were unveiled by security operatives during a raid of the forest around the Lokpanta Cattle Market in the Umunneochi axis of the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway. It was also discovered that the cattle market was being used by kidnappers as ransom-collection point, the Punch reported.
