…demands N40million compensation from magistrate, police

Following the controversial death of one of Nigerian Singers, Mohbad which led to the detainment of the Malian Record Leader, Naira Marley and Lagos socialite, Sam Larry, the suspects have reportedly filed a N40million compensation suit against the magistrate and the police for their alleged unlawful detainment.
The suit is to seek redress for their basic rights and their continued detention for the murder of 27-year-old singer, Mohbad.
More so, the lawsuit requests a ruling that their indefinite detention “at the Homicide Section of the Lagos State Police Command, Panti, Yaba, Lagos State, since October 4, 2023” is unjustified and violates their constitutional rights.
