Israel-Hamas Clash: Egypt seconds US to end crisis, bring humanitarian aids to Gaza

Egypt has agreed to the United State engagement to address the Hamas-Israeli violence and settle the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

This is coming after the Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Egypt.

In a media statement signed by the Spokesperson to the US Secretary of State, Matthew Miller, and obtained on his X account @StateDeptSpox, it reads, “The Secretary and President Sisi agreed on the importance of addressing the humanitarian situation in Gaza to ensure assistance can reach people who need it and help keep civilians out of harms way.  Secretary Blinken reiterated to President El-Sisi the importance of facilitating the safe passage of American citizens and family members from Gaza.” Miller said.

Earlier, the US Secretary of State, Antony Blikens, via his X account @SecBlinken, noted, “In Cairo, I will reiterate our condemnation of Hamas’ violence in Israel, consult with Egyptian leaders on addressing humanitarian needs in Gaza, and discuss efforts to enable safe passage for U.S. citizens.”

He also confirmed meetings the Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Middle East crises: “Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and I met today in Riyadh and discussed the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel.” He said.
