The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC Ekiti State Command is currently on the trail of a student of Are/Afao Comprehensive College in Irepodun/Ifelodun local government for allegedly raping two girls at a time.
According to reports, the male student threatened the girls with axe before performing the act.
The two ladies were said to have collected a phone belonging to their friend and went to a secluded area to see a movie on the phone.
It was gathered that the suspect was said to have forcefully taken the phone from them and ran into the bush.
The ladies came to the school and one of their friends offered to follow them into the bush to get the phone, but on their way she ran back leaving the two other students to the mercy of the suspect who raped both of them.
Spokesperson for the NSCDC in the state, Tolu Afolabi said efforts have been intensified to arrest the culprit, but one of the ladies suspected to be an accomplice has been arrested and she is assisting to corps on how to apprehend the suspect.
He explained that the two students had been referred to the hospitl for medical checkup and confirmation.
According to him, the corps will do justice to the matter.
