…We will project Ekiti positively to the world…Chairman
Mr Ralph Ogbonaye of the Daily Trust Newspaper has been re-elected as the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Correspondents’ Chapel.
Ogbonaye emerged unopposed in an election held at the Chapel’s Secretariat and presided over by the leadership of the State Council.
Other Executive members are, Victor Akinkuolue Secretary and Alo Abiola Treasurer.
In his acceptance speech, the new Chairman, Mr Ogbonaye promised to coordinate his colleagues to project Ekiti positively in line with the ethics of the profession.
In his address, the NUJ Chairman, Ekiti Council, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela called for continued unity among members of the chapel.
He said with unity, the chapel would be able to achieve much.
Ojomoyela urged members to cooperate with the new executives.
