Following the abduction of National Youth Service Members (NYSC) by terrorists along the highway in Zamfara State, one time Senate Representative of Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani, has said Government must secure the lives and freedom of the victims.
He noted this on his Twitter handle @ShehuSani.
Gunmen abducted eight NYSC members in Zamfara State, travelling in an Akwa Ibom Transport Company (AKTC) bus from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, to Sokoto State, for the one-year national service, when the hoodlums intercepted their vehicle, the Guardian reported.
Senator Sani said it is an unfortunate happening and “it is an avoidable tragedy, knowing the dangers of that road, but we now have to deal with it. Everything must be done by the Government to secure the lives and freedom of the victims.”
