… appreciates Governor Oyebanji’s love for members
The National Union of Road Transportation Workers NURTW has appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for giving rice to members of the union as palliative to cushion effect of fuel subsidy removal.
The bags of rice distributed were those allocated to the union by Ekiti Government from recently distributed Palliatives.
Distributing the food item in NURTW office, Ado Ekiti to members across the sixteen local governments, Chairman of the Union, Elder Joseph Falope said the distribution was inline with the governor’s directive that all members must benefit from it.
Elder Falope known as Oloforo noted that the Governor was so passionate about the well being of drivers in Ekiti State, hence the need to capture them in the palliative.
According to him, we are experiencing this for the first time, this is an evidence that Governor Oyebanji feels the pulse of the masses.
” We have not had a Governor like BAO before, he is so passionate about his people, we are proud of him and will continue to support him.
He promised that members of the union would not relent in supporting present administration to achieve succes, urging them to drive gently to prevent road crashes.
In an interview, some of the mebers of the drivers’ Union thanked the state government for the gesture and commended the open door policy of the Chairman
