NNPC Denies Fuel Price Increase Amidst Social Media Rumours

The Nigerian national petroleum corporation limited (NNPCL) has clarified that it has not raised the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as fuel. Despite rumors circulating on social media about a supposed increase to N715 per liter due to a rise in the dollar price.

NNPC stated this through their official Twitter account that it does not intend to increase the PMS pump price.

In the tweet, NNPC confirmed that there are no plans to raise the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as fuel. The corporation acknowledged the concerns raised by customers but reassured the public of its commitment to maintaining affordable rates across its NNPC Store Stations nationwide.

Expressing gratitude for customer loyalty, NNPC emphasized its dedication to delivering high-quality products while upholding accessibility for the masses.

“As the nation’s premier petroleum provider, the corporation remains steadfast in its efforts to ensure a reliable and affordable fuel supply for consumers.”
