Tosin Aluko assumes duty as commissioner, promises to deliver

…charges staff on punctuality

The newly sworn in Commissioner Environment and Natural Resources in Ekiti State, Chief Mrs Tosin Ajisafe Aluko has assumed office

The Commissioner who assumed duty in her office at about 8:30am on Monday was accompanied by her friends and associates commended members of staff of the ministry and expressed happiness at the warm reception given to her.

Chief Ajisafe Aluko who described herself as an easy going person encouraged staff of the ministry to be alive in discharging their duties, stressing that punctuality is the soul of business, thereby calling on staff to be punctual at work.

She promised to bring innovation to the ministry in order to deliver on the mandate given to her by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

in his welcome address, the General Manager,
Ekiti State Environmental Protection Agency, Mr. Kayode Adumo on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Babatunde Alokan and members of staff welcomed the Commissioner whom he described as an astute politician who has served the state in different capacities.

A prayer session had earlier held with other members of staff to usher the commissioner in to the office and wish her the best in the new task given to her by the Governor.

Chief Tosin Aluko popularly called “No shaking” has held various political offices in the state such as Senior Special Assistant to former Governor Kayode Fayemi on Community Engagement and Enlightenment, Commissioner, Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission and first female elected Chairman in Ekiti State.
