GOV. OYEBANJI IS A BLESSING EKITI WORKERS… NULGE PRESIDENT

…commends Governor Over Approval of CONHESS, Hazard Allowance for Health Workers

The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ekiti State has commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the various Palliative measures rolled out for workers in the state as part of measures to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal.

The union was particularly  happy about the approval of 90% Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS and 100% Hazard Allowance for health workers at the local government.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti,  NULGE President, Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde said the agitation for CONHESS and Hazard Allowance has been on for over a decade saying the approval by Governor Oyebanji brought so much Joy to the union and it’s members particularly those  who are beneficiaries of the allowances.

Comrade Olatunde described Governor Oyebanji as God’s sent and blessing to Ekiti workers adding that workers in Ekiti State had not had it so good as this before.

He prayed God to continue to uphold the Governor, his wife, Dr. Olayemi and cabinet members to be able to do more for the growth and development of the state.

Comrade Olatunde congratulated Ekiti workers for witnessing what he tagged the “Golden Era” urging them to reciprocate the gesture by embracing hard work, diligence and punctuality.

The NULGE President also reinstated the commitment of the leadership the union to always maintain harmonious working relationship with the Governor towards achieving his dream of shared prosperity in Ekiti State.
