As the Military Juntas in Niger Republic established a 21-member new government led by Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine, the Digital media aide to former President Mohammadu Buhari, Barshir Ahmad, has said he hopes the decision will not lead to a regrettable consequence.
Barshir shared his opinion recently via his Twitter handle @BarshirAmaad.
Recognising the efforts of concerned bodies, he said Nigeria, the Economic Community Of West Africa, ECOWAS and the Africa Union, AU are gearing up to restore democracy in Nigeria.
In his word, “As Nigeria, ECOWAS, AU, and lovers of justice and democracy across the world are trying to amicably find a way to resolve and restore democracy in the Niger Republic, the Military leaders in the country who seized power in the last month coup have today, formed a 21-member new government led by Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine. Hopefully, this decision will not lead to a regrettable consequence.”
