…says state growth depends on strategic deployment of Youths
Following the recent inauguration of newly appointed commissioners in Ekiti State, the Speaker of Ekiti Youth Parliament, Mr Toba Fatunla has urged Commissioners to work towards the development of the Youth.
The Speaker made the plea while congratulating the newly inaugurated commissioners in the state.
According to him, adequate and strategic prioritisation of the Youth in every sector of the State would stimulate development and economic growth in the State.
He said, “Congratulations to all the Commissioners and Special Advisers, I wish to charge you to be the Biodun Oyebanji in your ministries.
“Please prioritise Youth Development in all areas, the northerners are doing better in strategic positioning of their Youths.”
Also, Mr Toba asserted that the growth of Ekiti depends on exquisite prioritisation of the State, as such, calling on the Commissioners to envision the State positively for progress to be ascertained.
“You are in that position because the Governor cannot be everywhere, you’re therefore his eyes and presence.
“Your success or otherwise will have a massive effect on His Excellency and Ekiti State, you’re privileged to carry the eggs in your hands now, please guide it jealously for Ekiti State. Ekiti will grow if you allow it. It’s time for work, please be the best that the Governor envisaged.”
