…as chairman Presents Account of Stewardship
Leaders of the All Progressives Congress,APC, in Ado North Local Council Development,LCDA, Ekiti State, have described the Chairman of the council,Hon. Yomi Osho, as a focused and committed helmsman whose achievements will continue to endear him to the people.
The leaders gave the commendation at the council headquarters where the Chair man rendered his account of stewardship before members of his constituency. The party chieftains said with the infrastructure on ground, Hon. Osho has justified his quest for a second term ticket.
A former Chairman of the council, Sunday Ibitoye was the first person to eulogize the chairman of the council over what he termed giant strides recorded within the shortest possible time he has been elected the council chairman of the area.
Also, a former state chairman of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, Rotimi Olanbiwonnu and Iyaloja Of Mojere market in Ado joined other dignitaries to commend the efforts of the Council Chairman at making more meaningful projects to the populace.
“How do we change a performing man, I implore our people to choose good work over a non existing zoning. He has only spent one and half years, I am sure that his second term will help turn our local council around”.
“Yomi Osho is a special breed of politician who is genuinely willing to contribute to the development of the land and provide employment for teeming youths in the constituency”.
“His giant strides is exemplified in the acquisition of 30 Plots of Land for the permanent site of the council, which I think gulp millions of Naira, Certificate of occupancy for Mojere market and the permanent site, construction of box culvert and drainages in our local council, erecting of edifice at the permanent site of the local council, peremiter fencing of the permanent site, among others too numerous to be mentioning one after the other, He deserved the second term ticket”.
“If we are to mention his achievements one after the other, time will not permit us and it may appear as if we are exaggerating. But thank God everything is physically on ground for all eyes to see”.
Against this background, the leaders were unanimous in endorsing Hon. Osho for a second term hinging their position on the need for an uninterrupted grassroots governance which according to them is in a tested hand, and in tune with the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
The Council boss, Yomi Oso, described the event as a day his joy knew no bounds. He explained that the endorsement for a second term by the leaders of APC in the LCDA would spur him to do more for his people. Adding that his second coming by God’s would be an opportunity to improve on his current accomplishments. This, he also remarked would justify the confidence of his subjects in him.
Those who spoke in an interview noted that Hon. Osho performed beyond their expectations. They posited that his achievements would continue to speak volumes, pointing out that he is abreast of grassroots governance.
The event was attended by party chieftains, traditional and religious leaders as well as different wards in the council.
