EKITI NUAHP Celebrates  Governor Oyebanji Over National Award

…appreciates him for reappointment of Professor Olabanji as EKSUTH CMD

The Nigerian Union of Allied Health Professionals, NUAHP Ekiti State Council has joined other labour unions to rejoice with Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji over his award as The Most Labour Friendly Governor.

The National body of the Union during it’s  8th Quadriennial National Delegates’ Conference  in Abuja honoured Governor Oyebanji given his giant strides in improving the standard of living of workers in the state.

In a congratulatory message,  the Chairman, of NUAHP, Ekiti State Council, Comrade Omotola Farotimi, and the General Secretary, Michael Malomo said the Ekiti State body of the union nominated the Governor for the award based on his leadership skills and love for workers.

According to Comrades Farotimi and Malomo, the Governor has shown rare commitment to the welfare of Ekiti workers through prompt payment of salaries and outstanding benefits.

The statement reads: “He assumed office some months ago and he has shown to the people that their welfare is very important”.

” We have not had it so sweet as this before, Governor Oyebanji gave Ekiti workers hope of better days.

“He was the first governor to Implement and pay the New hazard allowances with arrears that are equivalent to the federal level in the southwest and even among the state-owned institutions

” Payment of outstanding subvention owed by past administration, Payment of Contributory pension to the pension administrators among others.

Comrades Farotimi and Malomo however assured the Governor of the support of the Nigerian Union of Allied Health Professionals, NUAHP for him to record success in office.

The union leadership equally appreciated the Governor for the reappointment of Professor Kayode Olabanji as the Chief Medical Director of the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.

While congratulating the CMD, the NUAHP leaders promised the readiness of their members to continue to cooperate with their administration toward achieving the set goals.
