We’ve lost a hero, Ekiti Appointment Committee mourns Chief Akosile

Members of the Ekiti State Political Appointment Committee set up by Governor Biodun Oyebanji recently have expressed sadness over the demise of their chairman, Chief George Akosile.

The Ekiti state appointment committee describes the death of Chief Akosile as a huge loss to the committee and Ekiti State at large.

Chief Akosile, though, was of age. He died at a time his services were needed most in the state.

Chief Akosile was a very committed political leader who loved Ekiti with passion and was ready to sacrifice a lot for the development of the state

He never gave a sign that he would pass on as he was still full of life and energy two weeks ago when a meeting was held in his house, which he personally presided over. He personally signed off the nomination of the appointees as been submitted to His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.

Chief Akosile, while serving as the chairman of the Appointment Committee, displayed rare leadership skills and was upright, diligent, truthful, and did not compromise at any time of the assignment.

All members of the committee learnt great lessons from the virtues of the late politician and prayed God to grant him eternal life and also grant the family he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
