APC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY: EKITI NURTW COMMENDS FAYEMI FOR STEPPING DOWN IN SUPPORT OF TINUBU

…urges NURTW executives, members to vote BAO

The Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW In Ekiti State, Mr Osho farotimi has commended Governor Kayode Fayemi for stepping down for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu during the APC presidential primary held in Abuja.

Addressing newsmen in his office in Ado Ekiti, Mr farotimi known as shopolo said that the step taken by the governor indicates that he had interest of Yoruba at heart and described him as true son of Yoruba, advocate of peace and game changer.

The NURTW Chairman used the forum to call on all the commercial drivers and residents of Ekiti State to cast their vote for APC governorship candidate during the next saturday’s election, saying he had what it takes to build on the achievements of Governor Fayemi.

According to him, the antecedent of BAO gives him an edge above other candidates, hence the need to give him a chance to become the next governor of the state.

Mr farotimi explained that BAO was a man of integrity whose contribution to the creation of Ekiti State was a remarkable one, saying such person should be trusted with leadership position.

Mr farotimi therefore warned those parading themselves as NURTW Chairman to desist or face the wrath of the law.

He said he is the only Chairman of the union known to the law and pledged his loyalty to present administration.

On the visit of APC leaders to campaign for Mr Biodun Oyebanji, He called on members and residents of the state to troops out in their large number to welcome president Muhammadu Buhari, APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and other big wigs of APC to Ekiti state on Tuesday.
