Former Presidential Candidate and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adamu Garba, said South East Senators have endorsed the Akpabio/Barau ticket for the 10th National Assembly leadership.
Garba said this recently on his Twitter handle @adamugarba.
This is coming few hours to the inauguration of the 10th assembly.
It could be recalled; Roundoffnews reported that the race for the Senate President of the 10 National Assembly has led to a divide in the APC’s Senators Camp following President Bola Tinubu, Kashim Shettima, and Northwest APC Senators declaring support for Godwin Akpabio; this has led to provocation from Orji Kalu and Yari who are also interested in the position.
However, Garba said that “Senator Orji Kalu, Senator Izunaso, both of whom are former contestants for the position of the President of the Senate and all South East Senators have endorsed the Akpabio/Barau ticket for the 10th National Assembly leadership.”
