Bayo Mocks Lawyer Attempting to Stop Tinubu’s Inauguration

By Udesinanna Stephen

Following the dismissal of the case attempting to stop the inauguration of Tinubu over 25% votes in Abuja, the Spokesman, Bola Tinubu 2023 Presidential Campaign, Bayo Onanuga, has knocked Chuks Nwachukwu, the lawyer who made the attempt, saying that, the Judge criticised him for unprofessional conduct and a move to plunge the country in crisis.

Bayo, who echoed the Judge’s description of the lawyer’s move as frivolous, said this via his official Twitter handle @Oananuga1953.

He said, “Abuja based lawyer Chuks Nwachukwu was excoriated by Justice Inyang Ekwo for unprofessional conduct for his frivolous legal move to stop the inauguration of President Bola Tinubu over Tinubu’s votes in Abuja.

Bayo has that the judge believes that the lawyer’s action to stop Tinubu was “wilfully initiated to not just circumvent but to overreach the ongoing proceedings of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.”

“Justice Ekwo, delivering judgment on Tuesday, said he found Nwachukwu’s action reckless, frivolous, and anchored on a complete lack of knowledge of elementary principle of law as it relates to the Constitution and Electoral Act, 2022.” He said

The Judge said, “The aim thereof, which cannot be denied, is to plunge this country into unprecedented constitutional anarchy capable of causing bloodshed and genocide.

“The plaintiffs and their lawyers ought to be deprecated in the strongest term for this type of adventure, and I so do,” Justice Ekwo declared as obtained by Bayo.
