Barely 20days to the governorship election in Ekiti State, different groups and members of various political parties have continued to join the camp of the APC governorship candidate, Hon. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
The latest is the defection of 32 prominent members of the People’s Democratic Party and the Social Democratic Party SDP in Agbado Ekiti, Gbonyin local Government area of the state to APC.
The defectors joined APC and BAO camp during a rally organized by the Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Mobilization, South, Hon. Olalekan Ijidale.
It was indeed a massive turnout at the rally which was attended by different age groups, women , youths and party faithful.
During the rally the crowd chanted repeatedly their resolutions to vote BAO during the poll.
Addressing the crowd, Hon. Olalekan Ijidale expressed happiness with the massive turnout and appreciate the people for the show of love.
He explained that the importance of continuity could not be overemphasized urging people to support and vote for BAO.
Stating some developmental projects completed and ongoing by John Kayode Fayemi, Ijidale enlightened the people on benefits of continuity in Ekiti adding that Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji is fully prepared and ready to take the the good works of JKF to the next level of greatness.

Meanwhile, Hon. Ijidale has fulfilled his promise to the Drivers union in the council.
Ijidale donated bundles of iron sheets to the drivers in fulfillment of his promise after bringing leadership of the warring unions together
