250 Students Apply For ODF Free Jamb Form in just 48hrs

Over 250 indigent students of Ekiti State have applied for the ongoing free jamb registration sponsored by Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation within two days with which the program was declared open.

Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan had declared his intention to sponsor two thousand students as part of efforts to give back to the society.

A visit to the office at Ajilosun, Ado Ekiti our correspondent gathered that as at the close of work on Tuesday, over 250 students from all schools across the state have picked the form.

In an interview, some of the intending beneficiaries of the scheme, appreciated the foundation for the kind gesture, saying the initiative had motivated their interest for education.

Speaking with Timileyhin one of the applicants, he said:”I’m very happy for the opportunity and I want to thank the foundation for helping me. I’ll read well to make a good grade.”

Another beneficiary, Omogboyegun Medinat said, “I heard of the sponsorship through my lesson tutor and I’m very grateful cause I’ll get to save money, thanks to ODF foundation cause I have been registering for jamb for a while now and the cost hasn’t been so easy. I hope this time I get the admission.”

Also, Blessing Olabode stated, “I’ll do my upmost best to study well so I can get admission this time around. Thanks to ODF foundation.”

Moreso, Bisola said, “I have been encouraged severally by this foundation as regards jamb registration. This is my fourth time of applying. So I’m very grateful to hon. Falagan for this program.

In an interview, the Special Adviser to Hon David Falegan, Temitope Samuel, stated that the platform was created as a means of impacting to the educational sector and get more people educated, noting that the scheme is an annual event.

“Yearly we give out free registration to at least 2000 to 5000 students in the state, and this is not limited to only indigenes, non indigenes can apply too, cause it’s not based on religion or ethnicity, ODF believes in one Nigerian one voice.”

“The scheme was sponsored by Hon Opeyemi David falegan . So all the students need to do is come down to our office and obtain their form and fill in their details and when its due time to enroll them for the registration we call them.” 

“When the portal is open they will be contacted either through their gmail or phone number to come back to the office and get enrolled and get registered.” He said.
