The Social Democratic Party, SDP in Ekiti State is expected to hold her state congress on Monday, the 6th of January 2024.
According to a statement by the Organizing Secretary of the party, Pastor Adebayo Joseph Adamolekun, the congress will take place at the Party Secretariat, opposite Textile Mills, old Iyin Road Ado Ekiti.
The congress is expected to produce new leaders that would lead and prepare the party ahead of the 2026 governorship elections.
SDP made a mark during the last election after a former Governor, Chief Segun Oni contested on the platform.
However, after the election, the party went to sleep as much has not been heard from it.
