2025 ‘ll be Better Year, Bamisile Afffirms, Greets Nigerians on Xmas

The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Delegated Legislature, Hon Femi Bamisile, has assured that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will record more successes in the economic delivery in 2025.

Bamisile, who is representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency II, said the N47.9 trillion budget proposal recently presented by President Tinubu to the National Assembly, gave pointer to the fact that the economy will scale up radically in the next fiscal year.

Bamisile said this in his congratulatory message to Nigerians released by his Media Office on Wednesday to commemorate the Christmas celebration.

The Federal Lawmaker appealed to Nigerians to continue to demonstrate faith in the success of the nation under the All Progressives Congress-led government, saying the spirit of patriotism is essential to build a virile and prosperous nation.

Specifically, Bamisile commended the Christain faiths for their prayers and support for the current government to overcome the security and socio economic challenges that are creating difficulties in attaining a height that will usher in prosperity for all citizens.

“If you look at the N47.9 trillion budgetary estimate presented by President Tinubu to the National Assembly for passage and areas of focus, one will realise that we will have the best budget in history in 2025.

“I am happy while dissecting the proposal because it centred majorly on the thematic economic areas like health, security, youth empowerment, agriculture and infrastructure.

” I am sure that the 2025 will be a better year for all of us as Nigerians”, he said.

As preached by Christ, which symbolizes the Christmas celebration, Bamisile urged Nigerians to eschew ethnic and religious bigotry and be liberal to one another through love and total abstinence from incendiary comments that could create unnecessary cleavages among the populace.

Bamisile saluted Ekiti residents, particularly his constituents in Ekiti East/Gbonyin/Emure Federal Constituency for their support for President Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji, saying this must be sustained in the spirit of love and oneness the birth of Jesus Christ symbolizes.

“What the birth of Jesus Christ typifies was love, togetherness, sacrifice, tolerance, generosity of spirit and honesty.

“All these virtues must be imbibed and be our moral compass as well as guiding principles, if truly we are desirous of a nation that is progressive and prosperous as we look forward to the 2025 fiscal year.

“I congratulate our people on this occasion and wish them a merry and rewarding Christmas”, he said.
