…gets New Executives
The Class of 1998 Old Students’ Association of Olaoluwa Muslim Grammar School, Ado-Ekiti has honoured their former teachers and notable alumni at their reunion programme.
The event equally featured the award of scholarships to three outstanding Students’ of the school and election of new executives that will pilot the affairs of the association.
Their esteemed former teachers including; Elder Adegoke P.A and Mrs. Adamolekun Theresa were recognized for their invaluable contributions to shaping young minds and laying a solid foundation for their success during their service years in the school.
Also, the National President of the Old Students Association, Brigadier Tajudeen Olabode (Rtd), was also honored alongside three other distinguished alumni: Rt Hon Hakeem Jamiu, former Deputy Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Mr Mojeed Jamiu, Basorun Tope Alabi for their exemplary leadership and contributions to the school and the society.
In addition to celebrating past achievements, the reunion underscored the association’s commitment to future excellence by rewarding three outstanding students with scholarships.
The Protem Chairman, Dr Buhari Lateef in his opening speech, launched the annual scholarship scheme as commitment of the ’98 set to promoting academic excellence and supporting the next generation of leaders from Olaoluwa Muslim Grammar School.
Another key highlight of the event was the election of a new set of executives to steer the association towards continued progress and development.
The newly elected executives led by Ogunlade Olusola as Governor pledged to build on the existing foundation laid by the protem executives and work collaboratively to achieve the association’s goals.
