2024 Easter: FRSC Ekiti Sector Command Deploys 643 Personnel To Prevent Road Crashes

…Urges Road Users to Obey Traffic Rules

The Federal Road Safety Corps, Ekiti Sector Command, has deployed 643 personnels to eradicate road traffic crashes ahead of the 2024 Easter celebration.

This was contained in a statement by the Sector Commander, Corps Commander Elijah Olusola Joseph and signed by the Deputy Route Commander, AG. Sector Public Education Officer, Egesie Obinna.

Corps Commander Elijah Olusola Joseph pledged the commitment of the command in ensuring safer roads for users in Ekiti state during this year’s Easter celebration

The Sector Commander noted that to achieve the vision of eradicating road traffic crashes and creating a safe motoring environment especially during festive period, the command will activate all operational and enlightenment strategies backed by law.

He further admonished road users to obey all traffic rules and avoid dangerous driving, speeding, overloading of vehicles with goods and human, driving against traffic and drunk driving during the festive period.

Six Hundred and Forty Three (643) Officers and Men of the Corps as well as Special Marshals have been deployed from FRSC formations within the state for the week long special patrol exercise that involves traffic controls, mobile court sessions, church advocacy and media sensitization programmes.
