2023: Tinubu will win in 24 States, says SWAGA Chair

…flag-off door-to-door campaign

By Precious Oham

Senator Dayo Adeyeye, Chairman, South West Agenda, SWAGA, has declared that presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will win 24 states in the general elections.

Senator Adeyeye, who stated this at the flag-off of the door-to-door campaign for the APC presidential candidate in Ado-Ekiti, on Wednesday, noted that he will come second in the states he will not win.

The APC stalwart berated the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, governor, Godwin Emefiele, as the most controversial governor of CBN accusing him of trying to crumble the economy.

He noted that if elected, Tinubu will not allow Nigerians to suffer amidst the new naira notes scarcity adding that changing the currency at this time is unnecessary and unfair.

“Tinubu will win in 24 States come February 25 by my own analysis and calculations. And he will come second in the states where he will not win. A compassionate person like Tinubu will not allow Nigerians to lose their money like that.

“There is no need for the country to be going through what we are into now. Changing currency particularly in the time of elections is not fair. If at all you want to change currency, why an unnecessary time limit?

“I want to use this opportunity to say he is going down in history as the most controversial Governor of CBN, as a Governor that has a singular agenda to crumble the economy of Nigeria and he is bringing unbearable pain on the people of Nigeria.

“Why I said he is controversial is because everyday, he is sponsoring one group and the other to demonstrate for him. I have never seen a CBN Governor organising people to vote for him as President and even went to court to compel the party to accept him.”
