…says Yet to Decide

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that it is yet to zone the leadership of the 10th National Assembly as against the versions of zoning arrangements in circulation on social media.
This was made known in a press statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, APC, Barr. Felix Morka.
According to him, the discussions and information on zoning did not emanate from the Party and should be disregarded.
He said, “To be clear, the Party has yet to zone positions of leadership of the 10th National Assembly. Any decisions made in that regard will be duly communicated via the Party’s official information channels.”
“APC is the majority in the National Assembly giving it the political advantage to control the leadership of the 10th Assembly.”
In recent time, there has been conversations on social media that APC should zone its Senatorial position to the Southeast for a regional balance of power, similarly, some has also suggested zoning to the South-South.
Although, Garba Shehu an APC card carrier has said, zoning the 10th House to Southeast is an emotional decision and not a political tactic.
