As the 10th Assemby begins official assignment today, the lawmaker representing Ikole, constituency-one at the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Femi Fatunla has congratulated the lawmaker representing Ekiti North Senatorial District, Senator Cyril Fasuyi and member representing Ekiti Federal Constituncy One, comprising Oye/Ikole at the House of Representatives, Hon. Akin Rotimi for being part of history.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, Hon. Fatunla rejoiced with the two lawmakers for the opportunity to serve at the highest law making institutions of the country, with a prayer to God to grant them the wisdom and understanding to succeed in the task ahead.
The Ikole born entrepreneur and politician expressed confidence in the ability of the duo to sponsor bills that will have positive impact on the people of Ekiti State and Nigeria at large.
According to Hon. Fatunla, the combination of Cyril Fasuyi and Akin Rotimi is a plus for Ekiti State, hoping that they would use their wealth of experiences and connections to facilitate projects that would assist the youths and contribute to the development of the state.
He said: ” Congratulations to our amiable National Assemby members on their inauguration today, I’m indeed proud of these two personalities because I know their worth.
“They have started well by following the instructions of the party to vote for anointed Leadership of the Senate and House of Representatives.
