…promises robust healthcare services for citizens
Nigerian Medical Association NMA, Ekiti State has congratulated governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji on his hundred days in office.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, Chairman of NMA, Dr Babatunde Rosiji and the secretary, Dr Moses Dada noted the governor Oyebanji have demonstrated a genuine love and compassion for Ekiti people.
Ekiti NMA listed the achievements of the governor to include the prompt rehabilitation of roads across the State and payment of workers’ salaries.
According to Ekiti NMA, governor Oyebanji is a promise keeper and lover of all Ekiti people irrespective of their status in the society.
“You demonstrated the intention of the State Government under your watch to stabilize the health sector in Ekiti State by devoting a segment of your detailed new year speech to the subject matter”
“We know that Ekiti is lucky to have you as Governor at this critical moment and we pray that God Almighty grant you all it takes to make Ekiti proud again and belief that your name will be written in gold after piloting the affairs of the State as ordained by God”
Dr Rosiji and Dr Dada said despite the heat of the brain drain bedeviling the health sector in the country, saying members of Ekiti NMA were prepared to join hands with the State Government to deliver the expected dividends to the good people Ekiti.
They urged the governor to keep the good work going and appealed to residents of the state to be conscious of their health status.
